thousand island

Everyone loves eating home cooked food be it a simple daal roti or rajma rice. Maybe a healthy version of mixed veg rice pulao or stuffed paranthas with anything in it along with loads of veggies in it. Food tasted good with eaten with seasonal fruit and green vegetable salads.
Salads are easy to make, good in taste and can be enjoyed as a full or side meal at any time of the day. Green salads, when mixed with colourful fruits, flavourful herbs and roasted vegetables, could easily be taken as packed lunch so that it could be part of your daily meal. A fresh Salads made from seasonal fruits and vegetables has a great deal of flavour on its own so it would be good to serve it with foods that do not have strong flavours of their own, such as with bread and fried chicken or fried fish.

Prepare any dish of your choice and serve it with a green salad tossed up with Thousand Island dressing. Now let’s prepare splendid lettuces salad that is a perfect match for any dish you prepare for lunch or dinner.  Thousand Island dressing is the best island dressing from Veeba for green salads. This dressing would overwhelm the lettuces that we are going to prepare now. So you need to pair it with something sturdy like iceberg or, in this case, a bunch of spinach leaves cut in quarters. To prepare salad, separate the leaves of the fresh lettuce and whoosh them around in the water. After that, tear the stems off the spinach leaves and discard them in a waste bin. Put the leaves into the cold water with the lettuce.

Now all you need to do is cut the green pepper, celery, cucumbers, and tomatoes into bite-sized pieces and set aside in a large bowl.  Now slice the mushrooms thinly and add them to the rest of the vegetables. Let the lettuce dry first, tear them into bite-sized pieces and mix them with the other vegetables. Toss the salad. Also, let the spinach leaves dry. Mound the tossed salad in the middle. To enjoy the salad with Island Dressing, mash the hard-boiled egg with a fork in a small bowl. Only use the best island dressing for the final twist.
